Dear RC,
Just today I started reading Eckhart Tolle’s book “The Power of Now” and in the introduction he shares about how he started down the path that led to him writing the book. He says “then I felt drawn into what seemed like a vortex of energy. It was a slow movement at first and then accelerated. I was gripped by an intense fear, and my body started to shake. I heard the words “resist nothing”, as if spoken inside my chest. I could feel myself being sucked into a void. It felt as if the void was inside myself rather than outside. Suddenly, there was no more fear, and I let myself fall into that void. I have no recollection of what happened after that”. I thought of this story when I heard you talk in the book study about black holes and your belief that there are macro black holes but also microscopic black holes of energy and couldn’t help but wonder if this is what Eckhart experienced and that was so transformational for him. So fascinating. I look forward to watching your videos and reading your content. I love how God dovetails things together in such meaningful ways. Thank you!

Thank you for asking about Eckhart Tolle’s experience. I’ve read "The Power of Now" and I would never recommend it to anyone. Its message is a distortion of the truth that lures people into focusing on their own self-importance rather than trusting Jesus and finding their place in the Kingdom of God. This is a common theme with authors promoted by Oprah Winfrey, who has publicly stated “there can’t possibly be only one way to heaven,” in direct contradiction of Jesus himself in John 14:6.
Black holes, regardless of their size, are points of interaction between God, the first person of the Trinity, and His creation. What Tolle experienced was a “vortex of energy,” not God Himself. Energy and matter are the interchangeable (E=mc2) building blocks of God’s creation. Tolle heard the words “resist nothing” communicated to him telepathically, which is how fallen angels typically communicate. He was enticed to give in completely to what was happening to him. By giving in, he gave permission for the fallen ones to have their way with him.
He said he has no recollection of what happened after that, but the book was an after effect of that episode. Had he been born again, having the Holy Spirit within him, this never would have happened.
Let me quote from a section of the Power of Now book labeled “The Way of the Cross.” In that section the question is asked and answered: How do you equate surrender with finding God?
Tolle’s answer: “I don’t call it finding God, because how can you find that which was never lost, the very life that you are?” (This is Satan’s lie, that we are equal with God.) “The word God is limiting not only because of thousands of years of misperception and misuse, but also because it implies an entity other than you.” (Again implying YOU are God.) “God is Being itself, not a being. There can be no subject-object relationship here, no duality, no you and God. God-realization is the most natural thing there is.” (God is definitely a real being, though one of Spirit. (Acts 17:28) We, on the other hand are created beings, as are the fallen angels who deceived Eckhart Tolle.
